Q: Can a pilot run without a POC first?

Yes. If your team already runs LTI tools and has a security position on cloud services, you can go straight into a paid pilot and be live in weeks. The POC is there for institutions that need to clear a technical or security question first, so you only run one if it genuinely helps you.

Q: What happens if the pilot does not work out?

You still get the full report. We would rather you reached a clear answer in four months than spent two years discovering it inside a long contract, so the reporting is delivered either way and there is nothing to cancel. A pilot that gives you a confident no has done its job.

From first call to live

Paid pilots are scoped to go live within 2 to 3 weeks of signing. A proof of concept starts as soon as we have access to your test environment.

Scope the evaluation

We work out what the evaluation needs to show and who needs to see it. That sets the pathway and the timing, so results arrive when you need them.

Sign a short agreement

A POC runs under an NDA and a brief evaluation agreement. A paid pilot uses a standard order form. Neither one commits you to an annual contract.

Kickoff and integration

We connect to your LMS and onboard the people taking part. A Solution Engineer leads a POC, a Customer Success Manager leads a pilot, and they stay with you throughout.

Reviews along the way

We agree your KPIs at kickoff and review progress against them as the pilot runs. Four-month pilots get a mid-point review, twelve-month pilots one each quarter, with live dashboard data always available.

Outcome and next steps

A POC finishes with a completed checklist and integration sign-off. A pilot finishes with a report on usage, AI resolution rate and engagement, so you decide next steps on your own numbers.

How is the pilot price calculated?

Two things set it: the number of FTE at your institution, and how many of the four products you want in the pilot. Once those are agreed, the figure is fixed for the whole pilot. The number you agree at the start is the number you pay, however much your students and staff end up using it.

Can a pilot run without a POC first?

Yes. Many institutions go straight from a 4-Month or 12-Month Pilot into a partnership without ever running a Proof of Concept first. The pathway you start with is designed to match how your institution already evaluates and vets new technology, not the other way around.

Can we move from one pathway to another?

Yes, both a Proof of Concept and a 4-Month Pilot can move into a multi-year partnership once you're ready to scale. What happens to our data at the end of a pilot?

Your data stays yours throughout. Handling, retention and deletion terms are agreed in writing before anything starts and reviewed with your security team during onboarding, so there are no surprises at the end. Nothing is kept beyond what those terms allow, and none of it is ever used to train an AI model.

What happens if the pilot does not work out?

87% of pilots do carry into multi-year partnerships. However, in the event where the pilot is not successful, there is no commitment to sign a long-term partnership. We would rather you reached a clear answer in four months than spent two years discovering it inside a long contract, so the reporting is delivered either way and there is nothing to cancel.
